Job Description

As a member of the production team, you’ll draw upon your unique experience to help us build a winning product, managing requirements, processes and priorities of the development team.  You will work closely with the Design, Art, Engineering and Audio teams to streamline the production process and ensure all milestones are achieved in a timely manner. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for the successful delivery of your assigned areas of the game
  • Build and maintain achievable schedules in collaboration with the team
  • Day to day execution, tracking and reporting of current status
  • Work pro-actively to remove roadblocks, solve problems and keep the team running smoothly
  • Managing current issues and work to ensure future risks are mitigated
  • Participate in career management and mentoring
  • Work within agreed project constraints
  • Act as a change agent to identify, investigate and improve process and production inefficiency
  • Work with external vendors and outsourcing as required
  • Work with other THQ departments such as QA, Localization, PR and Marketing as required
  • All other tasks associated with the successful delivery of your assigned areas of the game
  • Maintain the bug-list and is the liaison between the team as well as internal and external QA dept. including external beta testers.
  • Monitor team progress and maintain the schedule to provide Producer with regular updates on status and risks as required.
  • Carry out routine daily tasks and procedures of assigned project

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of Production/Project Management experience (experience in games development a plus)
  • Background in Design, Art, or Engineering a plus
  • College Degree or equivalent a plus
  • Extensive understanding of all phase of the production cycle
  • Ability to identify process gaps or problems, collect information, establish facts, engage and influence  appropriate resources and effectively implement changes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in a high moving, change orientated environment
  • Strong leadership and decision making skills
  • Proven investigative and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal) across all levels
