The Associate Producer is responsible for tackling a wide variety of challenges during the creation of a game. They must be accountable, personable and flexible. Under the direction of the Producer, the Associate Producer works across many disciplines and departments to help ensure that the game stays on schedule by ensuring obstacles in front of the development team are dealt with properly and efficiently.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of schedules that translate project goals into action
  • Assist team in adhering to project schedule and budgets
  • Monitor same schedule, budget, and deadlines
  • Coordinate with resources, internal and external, to ensure successful completion of project
  • Promote and facilitate process improvements
  • Carry out routine daily tasks and procedures of assigned project
  • Communicate revisions, changes and information related to the game
  • Assist in coordination of inter company resources
  • Interact with team members (across all disciplines)
  • May interact with external/internal vendors
  • Communicate daily with Producer to ensure accurate, up to date information is provided

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Production experience
  • 2+ years of Game specific development experience
  • Minimum 2 years Project Management experience
  • Proven strong negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal) across all levels
