Some players have been getting “Invalid Key” or “Your account has been banned” error messages when entering their CD keys for Tales of Valor. This is a result of case sensitivity. The keys are valid but the letters need to be entered in lowercase, not uppercase as they appear on some game manuals. For now, simply re-entering the key using lowercase for the letters will result in a successful installation of the game.
A permanent solution for this issue is in the works here at Relic, which will involve a server side update that we are presently working on.
UPDATE - RESOLVED
Our most recent server hotfix was aimed at addressing a couple of different issues, one of them being a fix for an issue with Tales of Valor CD keys. The case sensitive key issue has been confirmed as fix on the Company of Heroes live server, so users installing TOV will not run into any error messaging if they use capital letters when inputting their key.
